That's right Darts. I was Chanel surfing during halftime of a football game today
And came across premiere league darts. My guess London, Scotland ?
Anyway 2 guys in bowling shirts maybe 2 feet from the dart board going at it..
Packed house crowed in a frenzy...and it being aired here in the states (NYC)
We can do better, we (pool) need to be on the screen.. Just venting

Wrong Forum ... but ... I find "World of Darts" to be very entertaining (when available).
 
They were probably a bit more than two feet away from the board. Thats the only way I can hit one.

No doubt they also had a pint on the table next to them and a smoke hanging out of their
mouths. Least that is the way I remember them playing when tv was black and white with only 2 channels.

But yes, Darts has big money and more fans than pool has in the USA.

Soon, Muslims will ban snooker and darts in the UK.

Darts is easy to play, understand, and stage. A pool tournament is a monumental task to produce. If you want to play darts all you need is a place to hang the board and some darts. Darts are played all over the world and has a very large appeal.

A darts match can also be very fast. 9-dart finishes have gotten common enough that the PDC doesn't award prizes for them anymore (according to this wikipedia page).
