Daryl Peach and glasses?

Before this year's WPC I always saw Daryl play in glasses. I know when I switched to contacts my game took a huge jump. Does anyone know if Daryl switched to contacts or had corrective surgery recently, or if he played part of this year's WPC in glasses? Maybe the change helped bring his game up for this year.
 
could you tell when that happened? and I'm curious what was his eyesight prior to the surgery.
 
he should get an endorsement deal with lasik or something, if he became a world champ just after the surgery.

I still lol at his comment in the postmatch interview: "now I can go buy some hair"

That's right. If you look carefully you can see the red dot flicking between the object ball and cue ball when he's aiming. And it solves once and for all the question of where the pros look when they're hitting the cue ball. They all sneak one last look at Michaela Tabb.

and what about my question above? anyone? Isn't it interesting to know who of the pros passed eye surgery and why they went for it?
 
He had both eyes done at the same time about three or four years ago.
