There are rumors at DCC that this match may not go off. I have quite a number of wagers with members here. If this match is adjusted in any way, all bets are off. The wagers placed are for the match as originally proposed for the original bet.

what if they just lower the amount that THEY are playing for?

Lowering the bet was included in adjusting the game. The $$$ wagered will make a huge difference in this game, but I will defer and keep all bets as long as $$$ is $2000 set or above.
 
Iba, where did you hear this? I haven't heard anything else about this and the TAR people know nothing of it.
 
It is only a rumor at the Derby. Chohan has not posted the money and I was told by some of the guys betting that he was all in on the Roadman v Shane match.

I just wanted to cover my bases in case they don't play. Hopefully all is well and the match is a great success.

Not if all he bet was his "case 900" like he said during the match. He said it while he was comentating. Who knows, he could have been joking.
 
I talked to Chohan 30 minutes ago. His people want to bet another $10,000. Sounds like he is fine to me. Just beacause Tony might be all in on something doesn't mean his people are on short dough. Don't believe everything you hear.

Good. I'm looking forward to it. When are they playing the one pocket? I will buy the match but don't want to miss the one pocket mostly.

I hate that this event did not happen. I was really looking forward to it.

To all that bet with me, I appreciate the action. All bets are off. If this match occurs at a later date, I will issue a fresh line and take bets from scratch. Thanks all.

I have heard mixed stories and we will not know for sure. A good friend told me he stood beside Shannon Daulton while Shannon told Chohan he wanted the match for $100,000 to the winner and said he had the $$$ backing it up.

I was told Chohan didn't seem to have it, but TAR said Chohan's people wanted to add $10,000.

I assume only Chohan and Daulton (and whoever was staking them) actually know for sure.
 
so it sounds like shannon high-rolled tony, am I reading that right? That might be construed as a "move". I think tony's offer to bump it another 10k was preatty fair. But then again I barely make 20k in a year let alone a weekend.
