Howzit Guys,
Please, ... Anyone got the Joint Diameter for this line of Dave's Cues?
I Have a fellow Az'er with this cue and I'm not sure what his Joint Diameter is.. Could it be same as the SouthWest's .829"? Thanks Alton
Updated: Thanks all for your post. You AZer's always come up and help when you can.. A Great bunch of guys here on AZ Billiards..
I see his joints vary in size.. The Cue's Owner asked a friend to help him measure his Kersenbrock's Joint Diameter... That should solve my problem..
Thanks All...ALOHA Alton

Update # 3:
The Joint was measured and I was told it was .840" . A bit larger that what I thought.
Thanks for all your Replys..

Alton, I've had a few old ones but it's been a while. Seems like they are also right around 0.830".

they are different.DPK took the diameter down until he thought the cue was perfect for the piece of wood.

SW also differes from cue to cue.they are not all .829"

Original SW should be .826

we have one here that is .825" at the joint 1.240" at the butt end. It is on our website if you want to see it.

What he said...

I had a DPK which was .820 at the joint and a JF era SW which was .838.:)

Over the years there was a lot of experimenting going on with the different woods vs. the different joint sizes. I think you'll find them all pretty close in a .010-.012 differential range. It is also going to depend on if the cue was ever refinished by another.
