The tournament will be held at the Orange County Convention Center's West Building in the Valencia Ballroom. Play will start at 10:00am on November 30th, 2005. There will be five complete rounds on Day One for a total of 75 matches! Doors will open to the public at 9am. Day Two action starts at 12:30pm; doors open at 11:30am. Days Three & Four start at 10:00am with doors opening at 9am. The final match will start at 1pm on Sunday, December 4th, 2005; doors open at noon. Tickets to this event are sold out. There is a waiting list for tickets. You can sign up on the waiting list at www.internationalpooltour.com.Ronnie O'Sullivan will not be competing in the King of the Hill event because he has qualified and is contracted to play in a major Snooker championship. As a result, there is an open spot in the tournament that one of the IPT Touring Professionals will occupy. That player will be chosen at the players meeting the night before play begins. In the schedule below, Mr. O'Sullivan's name has been replaced with question marks. There will be an expert cue repairman in the lobby area of the tournament. He will be available for cue stick repair and maintenance. You do not need a ticket to the event to have access to this repair and maintenance service. So if you have any cue repair or maintenance needs, this artisan is highly recommended. There will also be some vendors in the lobby area of the tournament who will be selling very high quality merchandise. IPT merchandise will also be available in the lobby area. People interested in these vendors need not have tickets for the tournament to visit their booths at the convention center.Spectators will have the opportunity to meet each of the IPT Touring Professionals including those who are competing in the King of the Hill event. Players will rotate through a booth space located in the lobby area at the tournament site. Isn't it scary that someone like KT, who has no pool background, no real knowledge or understanding of running a tournament, can organize an event like this and be so organized?

I know, I'll bet he had John DiToro help him.

Jake

If he can pull it off, more power to him. Reminds me of a saying I heard from my days in the military. Prior planning prevents piss poor performance.

KT can play pool .He's actually not a duffer, but can shoot pretty sportily. Not a professional or an A player, but good enough to know the difference.

He's also surrounded himself with people in the know. So, there should be no surprise that he's this organized.

did the pinoys confirmed their participation? coz Django and Efren will come from a tourney in Japan and they're scheduled to have a tourney on the 29th in Japan also with Mika(i dont know if this tourney will push thru though). I just hope they'll join the IPT.

TV matches ...

It is my understanding that some of the KOH will be
on TV. Will these be real time showings, or delayed
showings? I want to watch as many as I can, but
I want to know when they will be shown.

vbookie?

Where is vbookie regarding KOTH? I'd like to wager some of my vcash on a couple of upsets.

The Eradicator,
Efren may be stopping by the Hardtimes in Bellflower tonight on his way to the IPT KOH Tourney.

I like Karen over Grady in the 3rd. round.

Grady will win. Knowledge is a better tool than firepower in 8-ball. Grady wins by 3 games or more. Not that Karen doesn't have knowledge, but Grady knows what to do in almost every situation. I've seen Karen butcher simple 9-ball patterns, and it wasn't because she failed to execute, she just didn't think ahead.

I wonder ...

if some of the early arrivals might match up some
to try to pay for their trip expenses.

Ok, could some please explain this round robin system a little better? From what I understand, everyone would play each other at least once right? Wouldn't there be more rounds listed if this were the case? Or is this just the first day of the round robing matches? I'm calling a timeout for any coaching on this one.:p :D
