They've gotta start coming soon.

(Frankly I'll be pleasantly surprised if the IPT website doesn't collapse under the strain of all of us refreshing the main page.)

How did you know what I was doing???? ;)

I'm hoping to get a call from Rodney as soon as he finishes his match with Marlon Manalo. Well, if he wins, that is. I wouldn't expect him to call to say, "Hey, I lost, post that up there, woooohoooooooo." I know he's been practicing very hard for this event, as much as anyone should be with this kind of money to be made. Good luck to everyone playing, and good luck to those that might get in with the openings due to the absent players in the future events. Peace, John.

I wasn't able to get live scoring from the IPT site... Am I missing something, anyone? Thanks.

Based on the two scores reported, are they races to 8? Or were those matches not complete yet?

Completed matches. If you print out the sample scoresheet from
the IPT website, it also indicates the race is to 8 games with each
opponent.

Please confirm there is no live scoring going on. I cannot access any live scoring in the ipt site. I get the sample score sheet but nothing else.
Cannot click on round 1. But then I am over 65 now. lol

Nick v.d. Berg vs Jose Parica 8-6
Niels Feijen vs Raj Hundal 8-3

second round:
Nick v.d. Berg vs Grady Matthews 8-2

Races are to 8!

Live scoring page is not working (yet)

I cannot get any live scores from IPT either. I belive the reports here thus far are from someone who is actually there.

Diana just called me from the event and she did hear that Allison beat Allen Hopkins 8-2.

Wow ...

Van Den Berg beat Parica and Grady, that
sure says something considering all the experience
he was up against.

And Allison beating Hopkins ...

Man, this is great. They are really putting some
excitement back into Pool, and we get to see how
well the ladies stack up too.

So far, this sounds like it is a 1st class operation,
with a little glamour thrown in.

Either their definition of "live scoring" is different than mine, or they are still working out the first tournament kinks.

I can't wait to see how these first day scores shake out. It's exciting to think about that much pool talent going head to head in one tournament. Wish I was there!!

thought so

I kind of figured some of the ladies will put some kinks in the big time 9-ballers. Especially Allison. She plays great 9ball and her Snooker background for playing patterns will help a lot. Best of luck to all of them. Sam
