Does anyone know how the parking is at the Horseshoe?

I am now above the 50% mark in the possibility of going. :p

I figure if I go, I'll stay at the Holiday Inn Express and drive down to the hotel. I remember the parking at the Executive West being crowded to the max! If anyone has any information, feel free to share!

I'm thinking of entering the 9-ball tournament just for the general admission. :p
 
Maybe it's stupid for me to respond to this thread seeing as how I've never been to the Horshoe, but I have been to the Executive West for a couple of DCCs and I seriously doubt the parking situation at the new venue will be anywhere near that bad. At the Executive West you had to eat the crappy food there because if you went and got something you may not be able to get another parking space.

I got a email about that today. Diamond will be having a SHUTTLE from the Holiday Inn:

Shuttle Service

DIAMOND will have a 15 passenger van for transportation of our clientele (pool player's and spectators) from the airport to Horseshoe and Holiday INN as follows:

Jan.22 - 10:00am, 1:00pm, 4:00pm, 7:00pm, and 11:00pm.



Jan.23 - Jan.31 DIAMOND will run the van from the Holiday INN to Horseshoe as follows:

9:00am depart from Holiday INN arrive @ Horseshoe 9:20am 10:20 depart from Horseshoe arrive at Holiday INN 10:40



11:00am depart from Holiday INN arrive @ Horseshoe 11:20am 12:20 depart from Horseshoe arrive at Holiday INN 12:40



1:00pm depart from Holiday INN arrive @ Horseshoe 1:20pm 2:20 depart from Horseshoe arrive at Holiday INN 2:40



3:00pm depart from Holiday INN arrive @ Horseshoe 3:20pm 4:20 depart from Horseshoe arrive at Holiday INN 4:40



BREAK

Resume next morning, with same schedule. The schedule is subject to change based on demand from the Holiday INN to Horseshoe. Pickups at the airport may be possible but are also based on demand between Horseshoe and Holiday INN.



A cell phone will be turned on at 7:00am on January 22nd to request service and discuss schedules. The number is (812) 207-8339. The driver's name is Jon.

If you get stranded at the Horseshoe after scheduled hours, taxi service is available from Horseshoe to the Holiday INN. (estimated cost is $15.00)
