Dcc 2010 count down!

I am nearly locked into going this year. I know I'm going to catch hell from the old lady, but I know it will be worth it.

I went outside once in ten days, just to remind myself why I left Ohio 40 years ago.
LOL. I love the snow myself. But I'm a winter person from Alabama. I haven't lived anywhere that snow is something of a pest/demon rather than a pleasant surprise.

Disappointed but will be there

Can't wait. I have to say I look forward to the DCC like I did Christmas at 5 years old. The 9 ball starts on the 23rd of January. ( http://dcctickets.com/ ). I think that's 114 days away. Get to hit'n em!

I'll be there for part of the DCC, but I'm disappointed that the organizers couldn't include the 3 Cushion USBA Qualifier in the venue, as they did 2 years ago. That cuts us Billiard players out of the discount prices on the rooms and free admission into the tournament venue. This will cost me quite a bit more money.

I'll be playing in the 3 Cushion in Louisville at the Pendennis Club again this year. I stayed for the whole 11 days last year, but may decide not to spend that much money this year. With all the other things going on, it looks like they could have found space for our Tournament, also.

Oh well......... we just don't get no respect! LOL

Look at Scott Frost in this http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3536/3184971534_8d8f1c4bda_o.jpg (zoom in) This photo was from Shane and Alex at the Derby 2008(?) after Alex kicked that ball in from nowhere on a hill hill game. He missed the 5 ball bank though and Shane ran out. Definately one to rememeber

Yeah, that was an legendary match......maybe the best race I will ever get to witness. The atmosphere in that room was awesome, people were living and dying with every shot or safety. That was the most fun I have ever had sweating a match.

Couldn't have said that any better.
