DCC 9 ball updates

A ball goes down but Shane lost the CB low again. He over cuts a table length tester but lands safe.

Alex kicks leaving a full ball hit but no chance of a pocket and no obvious safe.

Shane makes a liar out of me and banks to the side cleanly. Then, he missed the bank to the side on the 2 ball leaving a tough shot on the 2 ball and the 3 ball hanging in the side.

$ has to go into the side. Alex attempts position and overruns it. He 2 way shot bank to the side/safe. Bank misses/safe works.

Shane full cue jumps good. But has a tough crossover 5 ball bank that he makes.

He's out

5-0 Shane

Alex blew that chance with bad position
He is in big trouble even a lion will have trouble getting out of :D

If it's like what he did at the Bigfoot, he held his hand out and turned his head away when he saw the handshake coming. No eye contact, no anything.

Super lame.

I'm here at the event, and for sure that's exactly what happened. Nobody should doubt it. Not only does he turn, he started walking away before contact was made.

A ball down and CB lost low again leaving a long range 1-2 ball combo. Shane misses.

Alex has a chance here.

The 5 ball is blocked so the runout is tough . The 3 -9 combo is on.

Alex maneuvers for the 3/9 billiard and misses.

Shane plays safe. Safety battle.

The 5 ball has to be banked so winning this battle doesn't mean victory.

Shane gets first look and the 5 ball got broken free. Shane should be out.

Great safety battle.

7-0

1 ball went on the break. 2-9 combo available but Shane has to kick at it. He misses it but gets safe.

Safety battle begins. The 8/9 is clustered and doesn't combo. the 4 ball is on the long rail and blocked on the short side by the cluster.

Alex gets first look and makes good on it playing perfect short side position on the 4 ball. He now has a carom from the 8 to the 9 ball.

Nice shot.

8-1 Alex

I think Alex is setting the hook on the 200K match with SVB after the Ocollo 100K match..

Setting it deep.

Randy

Alex makes the 2 ball and has a shot on the 1 ball. The 3 ball is tied up with the 9 ball.

Alex long rail kick combos the 3/9 ball to the corner.

2-8 Shane

Ball down and a shot on the 1 ball. 4 balls are tightly packed around the spot. This is not easy but not impossible to run out.

Alex moved the CB like a champ. This is the runout of the match so far.

B&R

3-8 Shane

Someone please get a screen shot of the handshake. From what I've seen in the past, Alex exaggerates the eye-contact when shaking hands, as a display of respect/sportsmanship. Such a difference between Orcullo and Alex.

Dry break, open table only a long rail bank available on the 1 ball. No easy safe available.

Shane goes safe. CB nestles behind the nine ball.

Alex kicks and cuts the one ball down the rail for the make. Open table for Alex.

Alex gets funny on the 7 ball but gets out.

4-8 Shane

Never count the Lion out.
