guess

There is a mark on the middle of the point. It looks like an S done in faded silver pen or possibly pencil. The points look like Samsara points. That would be my guess. If it is a Samsara - it will be a hell of a player. You may have found one of their older ones.

how long is the cue and does the bottom ring look like it is for a lack of a better word smooshed? How deep was the area for the rubber bumper machined out? Can you post a picture of where the bumper is with it out? The butt cap isn't ivory right?

Ivory? If the joint is ivory it will not last long as it is just a sleeve over the wood. Also if the bottom is ivory any compression on the bumper will crack the ivory as it is thin walled.
You hope all that "ivory" is some other material.

Look in the butt sleeve area in the cocobola and see if you see anything written in black ink.

I made one that looked like that back in 2006 maybe? The figure in the butt sleeve is what caught my eye. I can't swear to it being mine, but it looks like the one I made for a Guy named Bill from Fayetteville, GA. I put a brown leather wrap on it when I made it so if it is mine maybe someone refinished it and erased my name? It is hard to tell for sure though. As far as the ivory not lasting because it is sleeved....I have 3 at the house that I sleeved in 2001 that got plenty of use and never cracked and I have had to replace some that were capped 1/4 inch thick that cracked.

That " S " in the point looks very similar to the " S " in the SK logo that Steve Klapp
uses. You might wanna just try to PM or Email him and see what he says. Just
another option. Sorry. I know it's not much. Nice cue by the way.

It came from Wisconsin.....thats where the cue was before I picked it up in DCC.
