Are all the rooms now booked up using the code?

The cost without it was almost $2700. I tried the code and it doesn't recognize it. If anyone has a room and willing to share please let me know, as i want to confirm my money matches, but won't until i know i have a room at the casino.

Thanks Lee

They usually have a ton of glitches with that system... Call the Horseshoe directly and have the code handy... In the past if the rooms were not going as fast as expected I got better deals from the desk.... Tell em you have a week of Mlife comps and ask them if they work there

ohh almost forgot... You suck.....

...and that is before get there, eat or hit the first Ball.

Not very much incentive to leave the house in the coldest time of the year... imo.. :bash:.

I booked my room yesterday and the code worked.

Can someone please explain to me why people always include the cost of food into their travel expenses. Wouldn't you also be eating if you stayed home? Why is this an extra expense?

Prob same reason business travelers get a per diem when traveling, but none at home.

Just coz you leave home doesn't mean you don't have food at home, meaning there is additional expense for a given travel day's food.

I can see that for people who prepare their own food at home. Know any pool players like that? By the way, (and don't tell my boss) I think we get waaaaaay too much per diem. In Charleston I will be getting over $60 a day for food, and about $100 a day for lodging. Who needs that much?!?!?!

I had trouble with the code on their web site a couple of weeks ago. If you call them there doesn't seem to be a problem and you can get a room.

Actually we had the opposite problem when we tried to book a couple of weeks ago. When my buddy called to book our room the desk people told us it was full. He was about to book a room elsewhere in Louisville when I told him to hang on. I went to the website via dcctickets.com and used the code and it worked. Just a heads up that whoever you speak to when you call may not always be clued in. Really I don't understand why this is a problem every year. It must have something to do with rooms being blocked off for DCC guests and a miscommunication with the people who answer the phones.

I was not able to use the code to book the room online. I was able to call them and after about 30 minutes I was able to secure the room at the tournament rate. This was done on December 10th. Don't know the status now.
