"Flame-thrower" defeats Earl, "the Electron Man" 3-2 in Banks. While Earl was shocked  ( sorry to use that word ):( to determine the crowd was not on his side; his insults to the paying customers stooped very low when a lady spoke, in not a very loud voice, correctly summarizing the score as she said, "Earl has no balls". :p Apparently Earl thought she was descrbing an anatomy part as he glared her down despite her numeric accuracy. While Earl was going through his routine, viewers must concede he was playing with a severe handicap as he was forced to play with his basketball gear on and then forgot to remove the tape from his fingers as he rushed from his afternoon shock treatment to arrive at the site almost on time. As usual, the classy Mr. Breedlove conducted himself like the gentleman he is providing a comparison making Strickland look all that more nutty.

Cuetec, Why?

That is ....

very funny.
Thanks for the blow-by-blow report. No pun imtended.
Regards,
Hal

Autograph

After that match a young man (a little mentally challenged )asked Earl if he had time to sign an autograph. He said "not really"then said"could you get outta my way.He wouldn't have made it in my neighborhood.

Forget any expectations about being a pro... thats just MEAN. How could you treat someone like that who looks up to you? I've never walked in the man's shoes cus I don't know but I do know that I would never be able to treat someone like that... bad mood or not.

I'll tell ya what I think? Why wear an elbow pad to a pool table and does it really help ones' game? I've been deeply troubled by this...

It's just a safety measure his handlers take when they let him out of the rubber-lined room (you know, the one with the crayons and the nice nursy who brings him "candy" and a little cup of wawa every couple of hours).

Hold on a sec. He wears an elbox pad to now? WTF is wrong with this guy, next he is going to be in full Catchers attires with a face mask and mit.

What I want to know about is the 4 lbs. of weights that is supposed to "help" his game???

I watched this match and Earl REALLY showed his ass.

I didn't hear it but I was told by a reliable source, after the match Earl said to Breedlove " How could you dress like that to play ME on TV????"

George was the one with out the Nike body armor and girdle.

Earl is officially around the bend.

If he stopped competing right now there would be far more threads bemoaning his absence then celebrating it. I think pool players 100 years from now will wish they had teh chance to see earl shoot just as many who never saw Mosconi wish they had that opportunity. Enjoy him while he's at the table, looniness and all.

cant wait to see him wear one of those huge spongy cowboy hats.lol

I would like to see all DCC related threads moved to the DCC category. It would be nice to have them all in one place. I'm afraid I might be missing something.

Earl is a little different but I like him because he is genuine. He doesn't hide his feelings for better or worse.
