Niels has made two one pocket mistakes, but was able to salvage game 1, but not so much game 2

Game 3, Niels had a huge layout advantage, but asked too much on what should have been a straight intentional into the stack. Instead, he moved too many balls, allowing Alex to make balls and get the table back to neutral.

Neils has played longer & more 1p than any other european. Although in recent years this is about the only time he plays it since he doesn't spend much time in U.S. anymore. Appleton probably plays the most now & that's still not much.

Niels played a nice end game, even with Alex on the one hole, but left Alex a tough cross over bank. Alex cccccccraaaaawwwwls it in and takes the lead.
