Dcc updates

Joey and Shane will be the final two.

Kent Taylor told me that when Joey Gray was a kid (18ish) he used to take greyhound buses to find action to wherever he could get to and get back from on a weekend.

Shane looking good for master of the table this year.

This is matchup I wanted. Some new blood in the finals and both are homegrown.

SVB has enough titles...I'm gonna pull for the Gray kid.

WHen Joey was 13-14 we flew him in for a score that got botched.... It was the weekend of the Lexington All Stars tourney in Kentucky, so we loaded up and drove down. We sent Joey in with Chris' cell phone while we sat across the street scoping the room out, steering him around by phone. Joey slides around and makes a couple of games and wins a little.... Johnny Morrow, an old school player from Texas offers Joey a game and we have Joey negotiate for 9-7 and the break (iirc), and Chris and I slide in and get a lot more bet, John Hager was staking Morrow. Somewhere around 5k+ bet. Just after they break we slide up to Hager and Chris asks him " what do you think of our boy?". John looks at me and I nod and tell him he can buy out now for half.... He says f it, you guys got me, let's gamble. Joey bbq'ed him.... Not sure if Morrow could have won even......

I met joey three years ago in a cocktail lounge. I was drinking some Buttweiser and I don`t remember whether he drank any alcohol or not. Spent around 15 minutes. I now, do`t remember how he looks like.

Johnny Ringo (Morrow) took third place at the Houston Open at Legends in 2003 and was found dead a few days later in his hotel room. I loved watching him play nine ball. RIP Johnny Ringo

Johhny Ringo (Morrow) either won or took second to Jeremy in the Houston Open at Legends and was found dead a few days later in his hotel room. I loved watching him play nine ball. RIP Johnny Ringo

WTF I thought Val Kilmer killed him. So many various theories about his actual fate.

Well, Joey didn't really show up in the finals. Shane ran over him 3:1. But congrats to Joey for getting to the finals.

On to 9 ball.
