This is a real jewel for those of us who are embarking on the straight pool quest. David Sapolis, "BLACKJACK", has an excellent video with real-time voice and voice overs discussing the nuances of breaking out clusters and maintaining a good break shot.

You can watch David in action by clicking here.

EXCELLENT, short video for understanding the break shot in straight pool.

Can't wait to see David's Straight Pool Video.

The videos that he posts have helped my 14.1 game more than anything else. Living in NC makes it very tough to learn the game since most people don't even know what you're playing, let alone actually play 14.1.

These type of videos are extremely valuable. Forcefollow also made a number of videos that demonstrated different aspects of pocket billiards but not straight pool as i recall.

Video technology and equipment capabilitites are on the uprise as the cost for high quality video is dropping. As editing software becomes easier to use, more and more people will become their own production house. I see a lot more of this type of video coming into the mainstream of pocket billiards. I believe Charlie "Hillbilly" Bryant is on the verge of doing some of this type work and it won't be long before others capitalize on this medium.

Now if you want to see how the Norwegian champion Roy Steffenson plays straight pool you can click here. :D Actually it's an evaluation which BlackJack provides for some of his students. (great theory voice overs by David)

Thank you Joey, and everybody for the positive comments about the videos. I have posted a few more in the Straight Pool Forum. I will continue to post more in the next month as I edit literally hundreds of hours of 14.1 instructional footage. In the next few weeks I will be completing several different projects. When the material is available, I will let everybody by announcing it here, in the straight pool forum, and on facebook. Thank you for all of the support, and I hope that everybody can learn from these videos (even players that don't play straight pool).
