This is going to be fun.

Just got done with the ACS State Championship this weekend.

Think I need a few days off before I see any more pool.

BTW.... We snapped off the team event and my better half took 3rd in singles.

We'll see ya there

Too bad you can't make it down for this Ray!

You'd probably be free by Saturday morning anyway :D

(I put this reply in another thread but will share it here: )

You guys and gals are so cool! I have great friends who are so supportive - I am so lucky. :)

It was a great tournament... (okay, I'm being biased)... and.... it was my Birthday on Saturday, so it was a wonderful present! :D

AND FOR ALL TO READ: My long-standing goal was to win a tournament in my 30s. Yesterday, I reached that goal!!!! My first tournament win! Wow - I'm still in shock!

I can't believe I triple dipped someone?!
Melinda

I was wondering if you were going to do it at first, but half way through the second set you could see the air going out of that tire. Halfway through the 3rd set she looked like she wanted to go home.

You shot better and better as the match progressed

This almost sounds like a call out. Steve, did you want to match up?

That was a little pool humor, but if you think it's a callout....so be it.

Come on down to the BCA State next month and we can play some on those Diamonds.

Don't come looking for a 3 course meal, but I might have some lunch money, if you're lucky enough to get it. ;)

(My reply is being copied here from another thread)
Congrats Melinda, great shooting! Now they may have to start calling you triple dipper trigger. Actually, I kind of like the sound of Melinda Trip Dip or Tripple Dip Bailey. Time for a nickname change?

Thanks!

Thank you! Funny thing is... I didn't have it in me to rise to the top before... I wonder what it was this weekend? Maybe the new shoes? The Gingo vitamins I took? Or is my new practice routine is paying off? I don't know...

Thanks for the congrat's!
