Tap, Tap Mr. Varney. Cue parts. I like that, also list as a used cue and gift would probably work well. If I were a seller, I would want the money up front and would get something in writing from the potential buyer if they only wanted you to insure it for a few hundred.
The Rolex I sent out was for a friend, and I insured it for $2000. UPS paid up within a month. I would also recommend sending it through a local shipping business. Where I live, there is a place called Shipping, Etc. I hand them the cue, the pack and box it and ship it. They know what went out, when, etc., and the claims handling problem with the shipper seems to be quick possibly due to their volume. Just be prepared to furnish paperwork showing replacement value. I would also strongly recommend taking pictures of the cue prior to shipping.
