This is sad news indeed. To say the least, Paul was always entertaining at events or in action.
In 1987 in Jackson, Mississippi at the Steve Gumphres Memorial Tournament, there was a 10 ball ring game on the barbox and Paul Turner ran 13 racks. Gordy Christopherson told me that that has to be a world record. Paul stated in his bio on Southern Billiards' web page that he once ran 22 racks of nineball, gambling with Don Ballard. Paul was a great bar table player and he will be missed.
