Josh Roberts has been red hot in 2014 staying in action much of the year. He won the BIG money One Pocket event in Des Moines produced by Scott Frost and places 3rd behind Efren Reyes and Francisco Bustamante in Poplar Bluff for the 6k entry One Pocket event.

Danny Smith has been in non-stop action as well with wins over several of the country's action men including Joey Gray, Darren Appleton and Jeremy Jones.

Many think that this will be Danny's greatest test. We will soon find out.

Slow is one of the last words that come to my mind when I think of this match. Extreme off angle straight backs, two and three railers raining in from all angles, awkward multi rails kicks from behind the stack to bury someone in their own pocket, 8 n outs from nowhere, downright aggressive bulldog take no prisoners go for broke style one pocket comes to mind. When Josh Roberts played Joey at the 6K entry to secure at least 3rd that was the most entertaining edge of your seat tournament sets that I've ever seen live.

I don't know Danny but I do know Josh pretty well and that's who I'm pulling for.
Everyone around this area is excited to see Josh mixing it up with the best

I cant wait to watch this match, Ive been getting into 1pk big time. I think its a great game and can only wish to be as good as these players.

if you make a ball in a pocket other than yours or your opponents it spots at the end of your inning unless its pocketed during a run and there are no other balls on table you would take it out and spot it and shoot it from where your cue ball lies.

if you make a ball in your opponents pocket it only spots if you scratch on the same shot
check out one pocket.org for complete rules and is a great site for all kinds of one pocket and bank pool info

Great post 100% correct

Only a few hours away:thumbup: Will Josh be able to stop the freight train that has become Danny Smith? His aggressive play and cueball control had master cueist Darren Appleton mentally paralyzed and visibly shaken. Jeremy Jones stepped up and didn't fair any better. The tight pockets backfired on him and once again Danny introduced his opponent to the mental blender, having Jones pocket his winning ball and not realizing he was even on seven. Neither Daz nor Double J could ever get a one game lead. On paper Josh looks to be the favorite as he has also stayed in big action, but how can you count out Danny? This ain't your Grandpa's one pocket, watch and learn as up and coming power houses weave a whole new web of Power One Pocket.
