Definition of Professional Pool Player

First, I have posted my name many times.

Second, I do play but have trouble drawing my ball. I hope it is ok that I post here do to my limited playing ability. It is easier to just ride the coat tails of action players. But I am not a stakehorse. Most stakehorses go busted trying to out run the loses.

And I have lots of relatives in NY, there is a chance we might be cousins. Are you from Howard Beach since I saw your post about Ginkster?

Can you name anyone else fits this description of someone that does not play but rides the coat tail of a player? I would like to find more friends just like myself.

Yes, I was up back in NY - I believe I posted that as well - so that is probably where you heard it. I was there 3 weeks ago at the Ritz in Central Park. You should have come by for a drink. Sorry, I didn't see a pool table the entire time I was there.

Oh! You talk real slick, I like that......And I am from the BRONX, and so is Gink. Howard Beach, wrong answer. Anyway this aint about the Ginkster or me as a matter of fact. It's really about the comments you have about Keith, I just dont like it. He is like my family, I just dont like the comments. So maybe when your back up here in "Central Park" we can sit down an you can explain to me why the insulting comments are made about Keith........

And yeaa, I know Keith is a big boy, and can handle his own........I just stand close to second it for him...............So when your back up in NYC I will make it my priority to come have a, DRINK with ya buddy !!!!!!!!

Yeah i would definatly consider GINKY a pro! In my opinion he has not been the same since his surgery. but i'm sure if he could put in some practice time he would be right back at the top of his game!

This thread was brought to my attention, and I felt like saying what I had to say.

First of all, there are a lot of players that are considered pros that are not.

Just for your information, I consider myself a pro because I'm subject to beat anyone or anybody at any given time. I beat Ralf Souquet the last time we played, Mika Immonen, Alex Pagulayan, Niels Feijen, Ronnie Alcano, just to name a few, and let's not forget about Francisco Bustamante. So I consider that a pretty good line-up. If anybody wants to try to knock that, then God bless you.

Every tournament I play in, I seem to do okay. Believe me, they're more worried about me than I'm worried about them because if I do get up and play good, 98 percent of the time, I'm gonna get that money. And it don't matter who their name is or how well they play because what good are they if they're a statue in the chair.

So you can label me, Sigel, and whoever else anything you want, but the ones who know what time of day it is are the pro players themselves.

Nobody on here will dout your ability, your skill level and list of acomplishments are well known in the pool world and out you are always a threat in a tournament and even better gambler (from what i here and read) and 99.99% of the pool players wish thay played your speed.

BUT

I think your missing the point are you currently playing in any pro tourneys if so then you are still an active pro pool player, if not then your a retired or former pro player. All that was being said is that mike sigel is no longer compieting on a pro level or in any pro events, NOT HIS OR YOUR PLAYING ABILITY.

i think the pros in our sport are the ones who can whine and complain the best, but the real pros are the guys who can deal with this whining and complaining, as it is some of the most annoying and hideous verbiage that has ever been uttered.

This entire thread was initiated because I dared to call my boyfriend an "American professional player."

The initiator of the thread has a long history of bashing me in particular, and when he can't think of anything more negative to say about myself, he then attacks my boyfriend with whatever he can.

This is not the first time this has happened, and I am sure it won't be the last.
