Delaminated Tip

After a last week my breaks seemed to be off, lacking the power I've worked so hard on. So I had a quick look while chalking it for my next break and noticed the center of the tip had a clean break around the edges of the layer. It was starting to come apart.

I put off fixing it until today (since I have to play tonight) and then Maniac reminded me I needed to fix it.

Since we have a lack of absurd polls today, here's some pool and cue related pictures to get us back on track. Yes, I'm aware my shaft is filthy, I'm sorry about that.

was that smoke comming off the tip as your were trying to shape it.

I have had 3 snipers delaminate , I was told they got wet........

Good eyes Maniac, the nap did you good.

Thankfully, no fires were started but I did manage to salvage the tip (Samsara). Once I cut the delaminated layer off with my X-Acto I saw there wasn't more than a paper-thin layer left of it. Took a while to shape though; those tips are rock-hard!
