Nothing as nice as new cloth, if you prioritize your pool and if you can afford it. It’s obvious from your wear / burn marks that you have racked the balls at both ends of the table.Greetings fellow players,
I know this is ultimately a personal decision but wanted to get other thoughts. My 5 year old table has Billiard Factory’s premium cloth. It has lots of chalk and burn spots that I can’t get out. See pic attached. I’ve brushed it, vacuumed it using a horse hair brush attachment and even tried rubbing it with some wet scrap table cloth leftover from installation. I’d like to eventually upgrade to Simonis 860HR. I’m already using Aramith balls. Should I go ahead and replace soon or wear it out some more? The local pool halls like Slick Willies let their cloths get FAR more worn out before replacing.

I really like the Shark Skin ones that Outsville puts out. They aren't very expensive and each one lasts a long time. They are thin enough to not change the break.Nothing as nice as new cloth, if you prioritize your pool and if you can afford it. No, there is no way to remove the burn marks or the breaking tracks from your cloth. When/if you do get new cloth, preferably Simonis 860HR, I would strongly recommend using a break pad when breaking. It won’t eliminate the break tracks, but it will eliminate the burn marks where you break from.
