Well i was working today ......we were packing long boards outside....and we were walking across a narrow beam.......normally walking across a beam is difficult....what do u do ? you FOCUS on walking across the beam....but we had these long boards in our hands.....so we were focused on the boards not the beam.....and guess what? we walked flawlessly across the beam....our mind took care of it atomatically......
So i got an idea....could this idea be used on the pool table? What if i used deliberate attention to shoot pool....instead of focusing on my stroke or my stance or deliberately focusing on something that matters pool wise...like my head or my eyes...or whatever.....what if i get down on the shot and deliberately focus on something else.......like wiggling my big toe.....obviously my big toe has nothing to do with pool...but if i purposesfully focus on it.....it seems my subconsious would take care of the rest of the shot.......
so basically im taking my attention away from the things that my body already knows how to do?
