i put a thread saying he was the best pick for the US.

he is proving now why he was the best pick, he has your team going and getting them pumped it for this.

also i think he will win his singles matches as he has so much talent and fight in him.

I am from central NY and am living currently in Arizona.

Known Dennis for over thirty years and have seen him play numerous times on the Joss tour. I've been watching him compete since he was 14 years old and he's always in the mix.

Just sorry I can't be there to watch team USA win the cup back

he is a born winner, something are team seems to e lacking at the moment, i know that sounds funny considering all the champions we have in our team, but where are they, wakey wakey boys before its to late

tom you have been on the receiving end of it many times, imo he is the best player in america.

2010 will be a huge year for dennis hatch, he will have so much hunger after this years mosconi cup,he will want to be in the team next year and will do whatever it takes to be back in the team.

u r absolutely correct, BOTH OF U, us in buffalo and the northeast have been watching Dennis and knew the TEAM USA, 2009 was meant for Dennis Hatch cause of his fierce play and desire to represent the country, it was the perfect addition and they are playn as a TEAM, as they had to to beat a strong TEAM EUROPE...its nice to see even Archer acting like a kid gain, excited and pumping his fists, as well as pulling the rest of the team with him and coaching those that are down, i.e. he was great getting Corey instroke in there doubles match. but Dennis Hatch is gonna have a beast of a year in 2010...he is FULL of talent obviously and has the aggression and heart of a LION. he is unwilling to fold, unfortunately my sessions with him will probably come to an end or at least much less...:eek::grin::eek::grin:...just kidding, im thrilled for u Dennis, u r doin exactly what u said u would do, u r the man...No more sessions :eek::eek:...:grin::grin:....LOL...GO TEAM USA, FINISH STRONG
 
I have watched dennis many times and voted for him. He is a great addition to the team. But i would not mind Rodney Morris on the team. I think He and Dennis have very similar styles of play, Natural Talents.
It would be great to have both of them on next year's team.
 
I am so bummed I couldn't get a stream yesterday to watch Dennis play singles. After having lost the 1st 2 matches, Team USA had to start thinking "OMG, we're just a step away from being on our heels". And wasn't Hatch down 4-2? That had to be THE most important match of the day.

I also missed the coaching of Corey by Johnny. Was Corey on a nervous tilt or something? Can anyone elaborate on that? Thanks!

I am amazed that this seems to be some kind of "Dennis Hatch Coming Out Party." I mean, sure I"m from the Northeast so I've seen Hatch play at world caliber level for many years. But, he also won major professional tournaments on television.

I guess the bottom line is that there are a lot of new pool fans or fans who simply never saw Dennis in his younger days on television. This is a resurgence. It's a comeback. It's a return to the limelight. Ladies and gentlemen, what many of us have known all along: Dennis Hatch - World Class Player.

Some of us like me

Had no idea what a competitor Dennis is. His heart is in it big time and his conduct was outstanding. Enjoyed watching this whole episode, great job TEAM USA
