I remember a recent tournament where Johnny Archer lost a set against Mike Dechaine without winning a single game.
I don't think that's a glaring testimony that Mike is the better player. As much as we like to place our heroes on pedestals, they are just people, and rotation games have enough luck built in that anyone who can run out has a good chance to win...Sometimes good players play bad, and sometimes average players play REALLY good.
I'm just saying that nobody brings their A game every time, and one lopsided score doesn't mean anything.
