I think the majority of AZB members have never even seen Dennis play his best.
He doesn't play half as much as other pros at his level. He doesn't travel to the international tournaments. He has often skipped the US Open, Derby City, and other major tournaments.
When he is playing, he is not just a top level pro, but up for consideration as one of the best of all-time.
Unfortunately he is about 40 years old now, so time is running out for him to be the best in the world.
Let me put it this way....... Dennis has 5 times the talent of SVB. SVB just happens to have the greatest work ethic today, so it is unlikely that Dennis can beat him right now in a long set.
