Dennis Orcollo Fouled for practicing a Jump shot on next table

... Dennis has been playing in the US and all over the world for a while now. He knows the rules, ...
I'd be willing to bet that he has never read the rules and is ignorant about several of them. I've seen several world champions who are similarly ignorant. Look at all of the rules questions here that could be answered by a quick (or maybe not so quick) glance at the rules. Few on this forum have ever read the rules. Top players seems to be no different.

Sorry, I just thought that this is such a common sense rule, that most top players know you don't step to another table and practice DURING a match.

Fouls

Dennis fouled and got called on it - short and sweet.

It's too much to ask of the great players to be 100% perfect gentlemen too. These guys rise up out of the muck of the gambling world, after all.

Remember when Bustamente fouled playing Daryl Peach? Bustamente was celebrating while Peach called a bad hit. You had to feel for Busty on that one, he was the front-runner to win his first world championship. This was not too long after he lost in a brutally gut-wrenching way to Earl Strickland in his other best opportunity.

He did finally win some version of the world championship a few years ago.

Even though he didn't call the foul on himself against Peach, he still is one of the good guys in pool.
