Dennis Orcullo banned from USA for five years

If you make your choice in regards to some universal ethical principles - we would end up with a better world.
Universal ethical principles like they use on the southern border? Do you know how many hundreds of people in Texas alone I've been assaulted or killed by these undocumented people? What about the rights of the people that are living in Texas? Or Arizona? The laws should be Universal that these people(US citizens) have a right to live in peace. There is supposed to be a structure for people entering the United States. And obviously this law is not being followed and people are suffering because of it.

Name three felonies you committed yesterday.
Of course I dont expect you to name any. That would be stupid. It is like the IRS thinking criminals will claim their I'll gotten bootie as income on their taxes.

Cant think of one that I have committed this year! 😏

This threads show how decided pool is, we have laws & rules.

Do not comply, get caught, pay price for misbehaving.

Some place in Texas you get ticket 1 mpg over speed limit. Courthouse is open 24 x 7 x 366, Judge asked if your not guilt, if so we will hold trail in week,

Impound vehicle, as of you sit in cell till trail, Texas circa 1990’s.

Like tv show locked up abroad, if you don’t speed Buba don’t pull you over.🤪

You are right that I care because it hits 'close to home'. I have neither time nor energy to fight all the injustice in the world. It's a tough uphill battle most of the time. I'd rather spend my days playing with my kids or practicing straight pool.

I am happy if I can leave the world a little better, than it was before me. If I helped to change garczar's mind or improved the quality of this thread with some helpful post, I accomplished just that.
I still believe that tourist visas aren't designed to be used as virtual citizenship. There needs to be penalties for not using them as intended. Do the rules/regs need clarifiction? Big time. I also still believe that since over 95% of visa users never get sideways with DHS that the rules/regs and their enforcement aren't radically out-of-line. I just msg'd my Senator. He always answers quik. See what he says.

Far fewer than were assaulted or killed by their fellow Texans? If you want to lower the crime rate in Texas, you should kick out the Texans and replace them with undocumented people. Are you worried that Dennis Orcullo might break down your door and kill you with a pool cue?

I think the numbers are skewed, since most people just visit US once for a few weeks on a holiday as I wrote before. So they get a Visa for 3 or 6 months and understand intuitively, that they better leave in time. They also have to have the return ticket bought when they enter the country, so it makes it easier.

and what is the percentage of people visiting US on a Visa once for a few weeks on holidays? Also 98%+? Nobody in their right mind would violate US Visa restrictions for the same reason nobody in their right mind would steal in Nazi Germany. Immigration officers on American borders are probably the most intimidating in the world. At least this is my travel experience.

So it's possible if you substact the huge number of people visiting once for a few weeks, that the portion of people getting problems with Homeland Security (because of unclear implied rules) gets quite big.

Found that in 2016 3/5(around 500,000) of illegal immigrants were overstays. In 2017 the number was around 700,00. That's out of the roughly 50million who come every year on a visa. Granted this doesn't include those that have overstayed from prior yrs so the total would be somewhat higher but not a huge number. My point is the vast majority of visa users don't get into immig/DHS trouble. Laws/regs still need clarification. That's what i asked my Sen. about. He's on a immig. committee so i should get a decent answer. Some GAO stuff: https://www.gao.gov/products/gao-19-298r

You're an idiot. Why the hell would I think that. All I said was all of these crimes would have been prevented if the existing laws were enforced, and not just ignored for political reasons. Then nailing Dennis, who was coming in and going out the correct way, was drilled because he overstayed by a day or two on his previous visit.

I merely pointed out that you can't just ignore laws because you don't like them. No I'm not worried about Dennis. He was coming in and going out the legal way. If he messed up on his dates, that's on him. My point was our own government ignoring the laws on immigration strictly for political reasons

You point is valid but many laws are not enforced because most Police agencies are short staffed.

Not many people are standing in line wanting to become Cops.

So if you have solution to recruiting problem, what would you suggest.

My buddy is a Firefighter - Paramedic, his agent has 25 positions open.

Sam problem few applicants, half will not pass written, more will be lost on backgrounds.

Bruce,

Your right about that. Law enforcement might be the dumbest career choice possible now. Sadly.

Why is everyone still rambling on about this?

He screwed up and he is paying the penalty.

He has people working on it.

Yapping about it all day on here isn’t going to solve anything.

Comparing the laws in the USA to those in other countries is apples and oranges.

The problems you mentioned do exist, but the biggest problem is Catch and Release. When one is not punished for the crime they commit, they have no deterrent from doing it again and again and again and again.

And as I mentioned above about the assaults and murders, there's also the huge fentanyl problem. How many people have died from that? If you're not stopping the "good' people from crossing the border illegally, you are also not stopping the drugs, the human trafficking, and terrorists.

When the very first act you do stepping into this country it's break its laws, you have no respect for this country.... or for the people in it. I have no sympathy for them.

Then at the same time, good people from other countries trying to come in Legally (Dennis) are getting the shaft. The illegal border crossers are giving those people the finger also.

Well it is a honorable profession, we need both Cop & Firefighter Paramedics.

The profession is not boring like putting cars together at an auto plant.

Have several friend who are retired fist responders, but most say they would not want to do in 2022.
