Dennis vs Sky.

Sky came out strong and pulled ahead by 18-19 games. Missed a tough ten ball and Dennis grinded out a good stretch and got it back to 8 games. Currently 62-52 Sky leading.
 
I brought my kid over to the pool hall to have a soda and let him see Sky. He's watched a lot of Mosconi Cup matches with me and likes Sky's style. Maybe 15 minutes tops. I wouldn't mind paying a small cover charge even though we were only going to be there for a few minutes, but they wanted $20 each to come in. Sorry, but that's a bit steep. GO SKY!!
 
Sky just had to intervene as Dennis was racking. Allegedly Dennis was feathering the head ball back to create some gaps and then taking advantage of that with a softer break. Sky was insisting they intentionally go for a tight rack.

Evidently, it was agreed upon pre-match that the racks must be tight.
 
85-83 Sky.

Dennis ran a bunch to go up 83-80, scratched and now Sky is at 5 in a row.
 
88-84. Dennis has made two breaking errors. Sky has made some great kicks and jumps but also gotten a few rolls. Both playing computer perfect.
 
I’ve believed all along that Sky needs to have about an 8 game lead going into the last day, in order to win this thing. He’s going to need that cushion to hold off Robocop.
 
89-84. Sky kicked in another ball. That's 3 shots he's kicked in the last 5 racks. None of them were routine.
