Denver Diamond ProAms

PM ME if someone is looking for some BANK POOL action out there! I probably wont miss a ball on good equipment, so if you have trouble sitting, you may want to pick up one of those chair cushions they sell at Walmart before the match. I also don't mind getting air-barrelled, as long as you're busted when we're done and you don't mind letting me "hold" your cue and case.

I agree with going back to the original setup and getting rid of the Apple store. But I'm guessing that that provides more revenue and less headaches than operating Felt's does.

And as far as the water goes...I purchase the bottles for $1 and forego the free glasses. Haven't been back to Hanks in over half a year. But not because of the water...because he watched me walk over to the candy machine, put in money, and my snickers didn't come out. I walked over to the bar and told him the machine didn't dispense my product. He told me that I probably never put in the money. Ridiculous. He was aggravated when he handed my a refund so that I could go try again. I was so pissed that he thought I was trying to hustle him out of a dollar. He lost a $30 a day, 5 day a week action player because of that and about 20 other interactions similar to that. So now I go to Felts and spend $50 a day. You need to give things away sometimes...a cup of coffee, water, a sincere "Hello, how are you today. Thanks for being such a loyal customer." etc. But what do I know? I'm just a nurse.

I've been to Hanks and have seen you play banks at Felt. I'd say your rant is spot on.

That's pretty funny. Bit of billiards lost my business in Longmont for behaving in a similar fashion. Which in turn lost more business from my friends. In the end, by scrunging for a $ here or there, they lost thousands.

Diamond tables

These sound like cheap tables. 1 piece slate dosn`t sound to stable o wood floors. But i guess their better than what they had. Do these tables have tight pockets. Do these have deeper pockets?

I know nothing about these new tables but I do know this-they have got to be better the tables that they had. The old tables were not real bad but had seen better days.Kind of like me :D

I was at Felt on Saturday and played about 5 hours on the Diamond tables. This is the first time I have played on a Diamond.
These tables play great.Felt is now a must stop for any out of town players.

So I really did go there lol. I played the Sunday tourney ended up in 4th place. Blew some huge ball count leads to lose. Overall good people. I was hoping the world bank pool champion guy was gonna show up so I could get 5-4 or play some scotch doubles with him.

Maybe next time. Pool room is great though. Y'all gotta get a little more action in the place though. Even $50 or $100 sets improve the atmosphere a ton.

Nothing cheep about Diamond Pro Am's

1" thick oversize slate - The slate extends under the rails so the rail bolts pass through the slate just like a Gold Crown or any other quality table.
One piece slate just means there are no seams to become miss aligned.
Those tables are solid as a rock. If you live in the area check em out.

Soooo I'll probably be back through that way the weekend of the 15th. I'm gonna snap one of those tourneys off or donate some money in action, cause I cant play a lick.

Been to Felt a couple times, nice pool room and good food. Think the locals should def be supporting that place.
