I was there for about 20 hours total for the 2 days. I met several Az members and had a good time.
The staff and the food were great (chicken fingers were great).

Sunday we had a little show as an older man came in with no shirt on and walked right into the playing area lol. The staff seemed to take it in stride and a few minutes later I saw this man with a shirt on and a glass of wine.So now I know how to get a free shirt and some wine there.
I had a long talk with Cues Blues. He was very knowledgeable about pool cues and a real funny guy to boot. He also assured me that my Lucasi cue was one of the finest cues ever made.In fact he offered me my pick of his collection for it but I turned him down.
So all in all it was a very enjoyable event and I hope they do it again soon.
Thanks to the staff and management.

Yes, that was a great stream. Very clear picture and sound most of the time. I also saw that old, shirtless man wander in!

Just a quick note on my Saturday in Denver. Although I only stayed most of Saturday I had a great time. I have said it before on AZ I am pool hall deprived, I live about 100 miles from the front range and don't get to go to the city very often. When I found out that Table Steaks in Englewood was hosting a 10 ball tourney I was contemplating going. When I heard that Big Truck would be streaming it was a no brainer. I did not go down there to play but to see the cue show watch a little 10 ball and meet as many AZ'ers as possible. The room has a great atmosphere and was laid out well. The equipment was nice and the food and service exceeded my expectations. Some of the AZ'ers I met included Big Truck, Salamander , Tokyo Dave, Alex K, Chris Byrne(thanks for the cap), 12squared, cuesblues, and I very much enjoyed talking to Measureman and Bud Winger. I also talked awhile with Brittany Bryant and can't wait to see her play again in the Oklahoma tourney coming up. I know I am probably missing a few and I also just missed out meeting a few more folks but there is always next time.

Nice meeting you, too, Cuebuddy. I am disappointed to have not met Measureman - oh well, next time. I had a blast at the tourney. Bobby Brown was a perfect host and his staff was the best. I was even able to get in the booth w/Ray for a match and yes, I did elbow him once or twice :). A really nice turn out for the 1st time (I think 60 players) and although there was a couple of controversial incidents, the tourney ran really smoothly thanks to Will.

Next year should be even better.

I was very impressed with the level of play, the conditions of the tables, the food, the stream was clear enough that you could tell the balls apart, and most of all...................I think Will did an outstanding job running the show. I don't know if he's ever done a tournament before, but he had the demeanor and organization of a veteran TD. Really looking foward to the future of pool in the Denver area, as I really feel that Billiard Ink has raised the bar for area pool halls, and look to be carrying the torch.
Great weekend!

Thanks to the staff and management.

They had a great turnout for this event.
Billiards Ink is a nice venue and we had a lot of visitors at our cue exhibits.
If Jonesy keeps taking his shirt off they will have to get a cabaret license.
We didn't think that make it on the stream, but he does have nice nipples.

I met a lot of really cool AZer's, some I already knew but it was fun to meet you Bruce, Jim-cuebuddy,
Joe-JGpool, Jay-jayman, Bud Winger, BigTruck, as well as Ivan-dogpool, Doug-Salamander,
Mike Berry, Will-"TD" HereWeGo, Dave-12squared, Ken-Tokyo Dave, and Chris Byrne.
I'm sure i've forgotten a couple but the highlight of the event was measureman's Lucasi cue.
Everyone's saying Szamboti Szamboti Szamboti when they should be saying Lucasi Lucasi Lucasi.

Well the benefit of going two and out was spending time talking to all you guys....Nice meeting you Toyko (Ken) and Cuebuddy and Chris Byrne.

Bobby Brown loves pool and the action. I hope that his pool hall is a great success.

I went two and out as well. Paid my $45 to draw Mecheam and then ATM on the back side. What luck huh! Had high expectations as I've been playing really well lately......................but Bill and ATM...............is asking a little too much right now!
But looking on the bright side of things, I went into the weekend thinking I wasn't gonna get anything done this weekend because of the two day tournament. Laundry is done, carpet got a shampoo job, washed the car, and even hit a few at Charlies Sunday night!
