Derby City Bigfoot

Pat was in the youtube chat last night for the infamous Daulton vs Boyes US Open match, where Karl called a foul on Daulton for the cb touching his stick as the rack was over. Someone asked why he wasn't doing the stream at the DCC. He said (me paraphrasing) that xpool came in WAY cheaper than him, so DCC chose xpool.

As I'm watching more, Pat was def higher quality overall. From video quality, camera angles, moving camera, sound quality. The only advantage I'd give to xpool is their website is so much easier to navigate how to buy the stream, and how to get to the player.

xpool is not horrible though. Its decent.

i like schmidt but in smaller doses than has been provided in this event. they should rotate with corey or even better nick varner
I was excited to hear his commentary before the event started, but at this point I'm full up on pointless golf knowledge. Wish we had Scott Frost, but I know he was just over at the legends event. Maybe he'll make it back for the second half of DCC

Scott Frost is currently commentating on the Filler vs. Gorst banks match. I believe he is remotely commentating.

Morra over SVB in Banks, 3-2. So the 10B semifinal should start soon.

[Edit -- That was SVB's first loss.]

Well, agree streamkateering, disagree Bigfoot is interesting. :ROFLMAO:

The size isn't a draw for me. BFD 1-2 feet more average distance. Precision happens at the object ball not the pocket.
Maybe Bob Jewett can figure the increase in landing zones too. They should at least use all 15 balls and maybe another row of 6. Call it Big Rack Pool.

Yes, no financial interest in any of it.

Thoroughly enjoy playing on a Bigfoot table, easier to pocket balls, but familiarity with 9ft plays havoc with shape for a hot minute. I think it's a good watch, but not if I have to pay.

Familiarity with a 10' er should take uh, no time? Well not very much time anyway. Last big table I got to practice on mighta been in the 80s or 90s. There was one room a couple hundred miles away had two 12' ers as well.

Gotta stand on the 6 ball effect. 10 ball outs are easier than straight pool so add way more space and the skill level plummets.

Maybe. Don't ask me to prove this. :ROFLMAO:
