Congrats to Bobby Emmons for going undefeated and winning the 3rd stop of the Desert Classic Tour. He played agressive 10ball from the start and doesn't shy away from any shot. Grats again  I want to thank Pockets Pool n Pub for hosting this event and throwing in an added $1,000. The tables were 9ft. Gold Crowns, all kept in good shape.

2nd place Chuck Evans
3rd is Tres Kane
4th...myself(pats on back) lol
5th/6th..Dennis Orender and Jim Hendrickson(sp.)

We had a guest commentator, Alfie Taylor showed up to join our regular guy, George Teyechea. I'm sure if anybody tuned in, they were treated to some very knowledgable commentary. Hats off to both these guys for stepping up to the mic, literally.

Chuck Evans was already sitting in 1st place in the Points race. This finish will put him head and shoulders ahead of the pack. He has been a tough competitor in any game on the tables so far.

The next stop will be in August at Kolbys. It will be 1 pocket, it's also a State Championship tourney. We expect to see all the good 1 Pocket players out there.

Gratz to bobby, when he gets rolling even really good players players butts pucker up lol. How did sandoval end up? I think he told me he was in the final 8 or something to that effect.

Did mitch or scott play?

And congrats to you on your finish in a tough field!

Chuck evans has been playing great since before I was born so no shocker him always being in the tops in all games.

I wasn't sure about 7/8th. I saw Mike Sandoval playing Ray Robles but not sure who won? If Mike won, that means he got 7/8th.

Scott Frost didn't show up, Mitch Ellerman finished 9/12th.

I believe he got that match, since he said he was in top 8 lol. Good job the The big cat on a good finish too.

What a pleasure

it was to watch this tournament. Chuck Evans is a super tribute to us old timers. He plays position as well as anyone I've seen. He walks around the table so calmly...On the other hand, here's Bobby Emmons, one scary son-of-a-gun. He runs around the table like he's practicing and he pockets everything he sees. Years back there was a book called THE LIONS AND THE LAMBS about the different types of champions. With Mr. Emmons, enter the dragon.
Pockets Billiards is a first class operation. I had a ball seeing a lot of my old friends. Thanks George T. for bringing me along.
Keep it nice. Alfie
