I've heard from a couple of friends that Sammy Jones beat a guy out of $250,000 over a few weeks in Detroit years ago. Can anyone confirm this story and was Detroit a big action town at one time?

He used to play one guy $180,000 per game one pocket. How's that for a nice bet. Paul is now in his 70s and still plays a great game of one pocket, but I'll play him with some weight (Got that, Paul) ?![]()
