I went over to the Billiard Den yesterday to hit a few balls. It was a great pool room. There was some kind of tournment yesterday and they were full. I saw a few people I recognized. It was so nice to see a lot of players playing pool. I need a steer man to visit all the rooms in DFW. Would anyone like to run around with me and play alittle pool?

Man I would love too. Being married with children. I don't get out much. So I would suck at showing you around. The only time and place I get out to is in Sherman, Luke's. They have a tournament on Sat a 3 pm. If you need something to do on a Sat afternoon let me know. I would be happy play some. Might even be able to hook you up with some action, If you like.

Welcome to DFW. There are some fun players here, strong leagues, great rooms, some action. I would be honored to hit a few balls with you sometime. Love to see some of your work as well.
If you play in the daytime, Rusty's (Arlington or Ft. Worth) has a great deal on "all day" pool. These are 24 hour rooms - and the all day special is good until 6pm. Not exactly sure how much it is as I always tip and buy a coffee or coke but it's around 6 bucks on weekdays and 9 or so on weekends.
Volcano's has some stong players and great tournaments (if you can fade blue simonis that feels like it's been soaked in teflon) - kinda fast.
There is a tournament every night of the week somewhere - and you can get a schedule at pooltourneys.net
It's best to call first - the web site is not always up to date.

Someone please show Mike around!!
Not only is mike a great cue maker but a darn good player. He uses a morri soft if iI remember correctly. A great chance to learn from mike, his approach to Pool. And maybe talk about the shane and Earl match up .on the 5-10. Somebody's going to have a blast!!!!! Wish I lived closer Mike I'd give ya the nickel Tour. I'll bet Mike has many memorys from the camel tour dayss-pick his brain.
