It's brutal, some of the best in the world are in disbelief at their misses. I like the extra challenge....Earl is right, the 10 footer can be a real b!tch.

10' is good for 14.1, but rotation games it wears you down. Johnnyt

I can see that. Also seems the older guys or the guys that show robot type mental control like Feijen and Ralf are the ones who can fade the tighter pockets and the extra distance.

Good position, short shots, and leave CB where you can reach W/O a bridge. Johnnyt

the 10 footer is great for professional pool- Earl is definitely right that this is the direction that should be pursued. It really allows their true skill to be unleashed.

It's good for pro pool. Break and runs all day turn into a snooze fest. Get some drama back into the game

From what I recall in the 5 matches so far = 10 players, 7 have had an accu-stats TPA in the 800's, while Rodney, Corey and Shaw were all in the 600's. (Shane may have hit 900, not sure, but it was close and he's had the highest TPA I believe).

I suspect that if these matches were played on a 9 footer, the TPA would average @ 60 points higher.

Played on this big foot table last night till about 5:00AM. Newfound respect for the players game. I think it was the heat from the lights that affected our "game" the most. Table was very warm, balls were very warm. You really had to hit it to move the cue ball around. Watched all eight matches during the day and some of the players just made it look easy. A couple of the players told me they hadn't played on a 10"er in months. Hats off to them. After playing on the table and seeing some of the shots and safes they made, all I have to say is wow. I'm not quitting my day job any time soon.

Yet snooker is simple. :D

I grew up playing snooker in the Midwest back when there were still 6x12's in this country. I love the game and have a set of snooker balls that I use on my Diamond 9fter. I know Snooker on a pool table is not the same, but its better then nothing.

I love the game but rarely get to play it anymore.

Up until about two years ago we had a 10 foot snooker table in town with tight pockets and a set of snooker sized regular balls. It made the game fun as hell but the table was mainly a golf table. It was hilarious to watch the regulars try to play 8ball. There are a handful of guys in the area that held their own on the table. I was playing golf with them, I got on 6 while they were both at 3, one of the guys ran 345 and then used my ball on 6 to carom in after 4 rails! This happened twice in one night! I am currently waiting for a good friend to renovate his garage and setup a 10 footer (older brunswick), then I'm going to pay a sleeping bag under the table fee lol
