Diamond Pro/Am in Dymalux Rosewood

Was browsing Diamond Billiard Products website this afternoon, along with Manning Cues looking for information on Dymondwood Pro/am tables. Specifically, has Diamond started producing the Dymondwood Pro/Am once again?

While on Manning Cues website, they listed the table available in Dymalux Rosewood, or at least it can be ordered that way at this time.

My question(s) would be:

1) Are these tables being produced at this time?
2) Is there a picture of a Pro/Am in this material (Dymalux Rosewood) floating around on the internet, or in someones hands that I could see?
3) Same cost as Dymondwood?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: Here is the Manning Cues Pro/Am page that lists the Dymalux Rosewood. https://manningcues.com/store/Diamond-Pro-Am-Pool-Table.html

There was one on display at the Expo next to the Diamond booth in the new rose Dymalux so I assume they are in production now.

Thanks Bogey!

Would this Big Foot from their Facebook page be in the Dymalux Rosewood?

It said not available until late spring/summer.

It does look that way. The one I saw at the Expo was a 7' with the black "Diamond" lettering on each end. They told me they just started making them again a couple of weeks before the Expo.

Excellent.

That Big Foot is a beauty.

Looking forward to seeing a 9' Pro/Am in a darker setting with its matching light in the Dymalux Rosewood.

Well done Diamond!

What did Diamond say when you called them? Oh, you didn't call them? Makes perfect sense to me, I wouldn't want to get first hand info from the Manufacturer. Sorry Dude, bad day. Brian.

It seems to me when i tried to buy my table Heath Manning was more helpful and knowledgeable than the manufacturer. In fact it took Diamond so long to return my call that i had already placed the order before they did. I have a lot of faith in Heath and i believe Diamond does as well or they would not have made Manning Cues the EXCLUSIVE online retailer for Diamond tables.

Been on the phone with Diamond a few times, but after a while calling them asking why there has been no resolution to the Dymondwood situation, it gets old.

This has been an ongoing problem for 2 1/2 years since the fire.

It's just nice that they have a new vendor for when I order my table after the addition to my home is complete.

How far in advance the table needs to be ordered is still TBD.

I got a email today from Aaron at Diamond re. a 9' professional table and the professional table will not be available in dymalux until the fall.:frown:

Good morning WGDave, BogeyFree, Kevin3824 & Electron Mover.

Some of you met with me in the Diamond booth at the Expo which was a great event.
I was happy to meet you guys as well as other members who stopped by for visit.

Here's the truth regarding Dymondwood and Dymalux.

As many of you are aware the Dymondwood manufacturers factory had a fire and has not returned to production.
This Dymondwood wasn't produced by Diamond Billiards so you can expect how disappointed Diamond Billiards was to learn this material was no longer available.
Since learning Dymondwood would no longer be available Diamond Billiards has been working with other wood manufacturers and materials to produce tables with the same durability as Dymondwood.

Black PRC (Phenolic Resin Composite) was the first material offered on the Diamond Smart, Pro Am and Professional tables.
This material offers you the same durability as Dymondwood however it's only available in Solid Black (no wood grain).
I have customers call me on a weekly basis asking me for the Charcoal color that many of you have seen in person or pictures on line.
The Charcoal color was a Dymondwood product no longer available.

Dymalux Rosewood is currently being vigorously tested and was showcased at the Super Billiard Expo this year as BogeyFree mentioned.
Dymalux Rosewood is scheduled to be available for purchase fall 2017.
I agree the wait until the fall is difficult however Diamond Billiards wants to make sure this material is perfect as with all their tables.
Quality and performance is why players invest in Diamond tables so you expect the best and Diamond want to give you the best.
I'm positive it will be worth the wait if your looking for that beautiful rosewood finish in Dymalux.
The Rosewood finish is currently available in Oak or Maple.

WGDave I'll request a picture of the Diamond Pro Am in Dymalux Rosewood and post it on this thread when received.
The Dymalux Rosewood will be included in the base price of the Smart and Pro Am tables.
The Professional table would have a option to upgrade to Dymalux however will cost extra. (estimated $400).
WGDave When the fall arrives and the Dymalux Rosewood becomes available the light will match the table however will not be Dymalux Rosewood and would be an Oak light stained Rosewood to match.
Black PRC or Dymalux Rosewood are only produced for a tables top rail and side skirts.
Standard Table legs and lights are oak stained to match your table.

I can understand your frustration waiting for the Rosewood Dymalux to be available to order.
DGDave If you contact me with your name, phone number and email I can keep you updated until the Dymalux Rosewood is available.

I've tried telling Diamond how to fix their customer service problems. Its simple really, cut production by 50% increase the cost by 100% then they'd have no problem keeping up with customer support.

"Hardest jobs are made easy by those that don't have to do them"

I've only call Diamond once and it was a great experience, spoke with a guy named Paul and he answered every question I had very thoroughly.

When I purchased my Diamond years ago I had a great experience with Diamond when I was a customer and not a dealer.
My experience with Diamond over the years has been nothing short of impressive.
I have very high standards for my billiard business and promote honest sales with genuine service.
Diamond has shown me the same high standards and honesty which is truly rare.

I speak with Diamond daily and can assure you they truly care about your experience and dedicate themselves to provide you with the best table on the market.
If they haven't returned your call or email it's most likely because of the abundance of inquiries they receive daily on top of their production schedule.
I also receive numerous calls and emails daily regarding Diamond tables & accessories however I have more time to assist you guys being a retailer and not manufacture.
As their exclusive online dealer in North America I'm available directly to answer your questions if you email or call me.

PS: Did I seriously see a thread today on "Removing the Diamonds from Pool Tables"? LOL

Have a good night members
