The D'wood plant burned down yrs ago.I don't think they have offered Dymondwood for a few years now.
Also keep in mind that wood rails will dent from balls leaving the table, and scratch.

Yeah, that's why I say I would need to find a used one. I have yet to see a dented Dymondwood table.I don't think they have offered Dymondwood for a few years now.

Don't be trying to steal my stolen sale.OP.. where do you live. My black 9’ 1 piece Professional w maple and PRC rails might be
might be for sale. Would be late Oct-Nov depending upon availability of a GC7 and mechanic to set it up. It is 3 years old .. lightly played on and in excellent condition. Located in S. Florida
There are still many diamondwood tables out there...and will be for a long time.I don't think they have offered Dymondwood for a few years now.

You do know the diamond is going to be a harder playing table than the gc, right?
It WILL make you play worse and hopefully return to your natural level eventually...where you currently are.
Good move I only buy new also. New is new. When I do sell my table will be to someone local that knows me. I take care of my stuff. My name is good.SW Indiana.
Thanks for the offer but nowadays I only buy new things. Got burned a couple of times over the years with cars and motorcycles so I only go brand new.
And that reminds me, I need to contact my renter(s) to see if they want to renew in 2026. If not I need to get down to the Diamond factory in Jeffersonville and get that Diamond Professional ordered!

You mean on the secondary market? Because they definitely aren’t making new ones out of diamond woodThere are still many diamondwood tables out there...and will be for a long time.
Of course. You mean on the secondary market? Because they definitely aren’t making new ones out of diamond wood
Diamonds have smaller pockets and deeper (slate) shelves. No I do not know this.
And how do you know this?
That’s really nice!Make sure to get in maple wood, cherry finish. Cherry wood is too soft.View attachment 852629
I also think Diamonds are tougher than GC's and my GCI has 4 3/8" pockets. For reasons I cant explain a 9' Diamond feels bigger than my 9' GCI even though they are the exact same size, maybe its the big, flat rails that Diamonds have.Diamonds have smaller pockets and deeper (slate) shelves.
+ I've had both in my home.
It does feel 'bigger', agreed.I also think Diamonds are tougher than GC's and my GCI has 4 3/8" pockets. For reasons I cant explain a 9' Diamond feels bigger than my 9' GCI even though they are the exact same size, maybe its the big, flat rails that Diamonds have.

I'd think that a more similar pair to compare. And what if I decide to go with 4 3/4" corner pockets on the new Diamond? My Gold Crown IV has 4 1/2" corners and 4 3/4" sides.
It plays very tough.
Table at home IS a luxury, I'll give you that!I would have zero problems waiting six months or longer , you are able to play pool every day in your own house when ever you wish on the GC IV , you are blessed![]()
