Two things, does cloth go on both sides of the feather strip or just one, is there any way to fold the cloth behind the side pocket ?

Both sides. I highly recommend the Simonis installation DVDS. IT is well worth it and all your questions will be answered.
 
You gotta get the DVD set. There are 2, 1 for bed cloth, 1 for rails. RKC probably took into consideration the cost consciousness of pool players when selecting the sales format.
 
I don't understand your question about the side pockets exactly... Can you elaborate? The cloth goes on both sides of the featherstrip.
 
cloth is on three sides wedged in be feather strip then it lies across the top which is the fourth side. if you streach it right no need for a fold in the corner pockets only for the side pockets.

side pockets leave yourself at least 3-4" of cloth to learn easier on corners only need 1-2"of cloth to make it easy.
