Diamond smart table...

Doc, I think your best bet would be to have RKC vouche for the location of this table and the great price. I'll put it this way though...2 years ago, a business partner of mine paid $4000 for a very lightly used 7' Smart Table. That should give you an idea of the deal you're getting here.

As far as the location, Glen would most likely be delivering the table wether it came brand new from Diamond's factory in Indiana or from a storage unit in Vegas.

I doubt this will clear up any of the confusion. You should have just told them in the beginning that you have a new table for sale and specified a high price and then bumped it every day. LOL This reminds me of a car I'm trying to sell...I list it as having a bad head gasket so it runs rough...I get calls alll day long from people asking "Can you tell me what's wrong with the car and why you're selling it and why the price is so low" and then they won't buy it because they expect it to be mint at that price. You just can't be honest and fair with people anymore...it confuses them. I think people expect the worst case.

Oh well...good luck with the sale. I'm sure you'll find someone that trusts Glen's reputation and your attempt to offer a fair price. Good luck.

You are not doing the seller any good with your sarcasm and poor analogy.People appreciate honest answers to legitimate questions. The sale is for a pool table not RKC'S reputation.Spending a fair amount of hard earned money deserves more then sarcasm and vague responses.Perhaps you'll next attempt to justify cue makers that take money and , with arrogance, fail to deliver by making another unrelated anology.

Wasn't being sarcastic, Brian. Doc is trying to sell a good table. Tried to solicit a fair offer and got blasted for it. Tried to be honest about the location of the table and got blasted for it. How much is YOUR post helping him sell his table?

If the seller decides to present a straightforward business deal after reading my posts then I am HELPING.Apparently he lost one serious offer by continuing to be vague.I am no longer interested so that should HELP make room for someone else.Read the whole thread and you will see from the previous responses the seller deserved the "blasting".I will offer HELP with the following suggestion. The seller should see if he can delete the whole thread, present a legitimate offer of sale for the next interested party and provide honest answers to legitimate questions.

That's interesting that I am the one that should read the entire thread yet I seem to be the only person posting on this thread besides Doc that can understand the details of the sale.

Doc owns a table that he wants to sell.
He wanted to accept offers on that table.
He now has a price since no one (but DWBOD) would give him legitimate offers.
The table is to be delivered by an installer.
That installer has posession of the table.
That installer travels nationwide delivering tables, therefore his location cannot be pinpointed at any given time, but no matter what your location, you're most likely in his delivery area.
The delivery and installation charge is to be arranged with the installer.

Makes sense to me.

No problem. Good luck with the sale. It's a hell of a table. I have yet to play on one of the super tight ones like this but the Pro Cut tables they use at the tournaments play pretty brutal as is.

Hey, I guess worst case, if you don't sell the table, there's worse ones to be "stuck" with! ;)

Have a good one, Doc

LMAO!!! Glen, where are you right now? I need another 7' here in Milwaukee. Call me and let me know if you have any good deals. I'll take this one for the right price. THANKS HUN!!

..."It is a special table that Glen built. Tight, tight, tight. not many around with the deep shelf slate."
I think you are making a good decision by not putting this table in your bar. A table that's set up "Tight, tight, tight" would not be enjoyable for the social player having a beer. I've been playing pool for years and I don't enjoy a super tight table and I don't play bad on a bar box.........

James...my bangers are bad enought on a dynamo with pockets like sewers...this table is way above their games...but perfect for some serious shooter...lets get it sold
