Diamond tables

I read a post on here that the waiting time for a new Diamond is 12-14 months. Do you guys think that Diamond will become the Southwest cues of tables?

I think it more likely that manufacturing and material progress will make a better table.

As to what 'better' is? We can only imagine.

I hope I am alive to see it.

I think mine took about a year, maybe 10 months. It was a long time to wait but it was worth it. I'm not an elitist when it comes to pool tables but I really like the consistency and the fact that the thicker slate makes it easier to jump on than say a Valley. It's made in the US and a ton of people ordered them during the pandemic as well as a lot of halls and big events switching to them. It's still frustrating having to wait that long but it's understandable. There is a strong demand.

A number of diamond table dealers keep tables on order, so if you buy through one of them as opposed to directly through Diamond, you might be able to get one considerably sooner, 3–4 months or even less if you get lucky.

I got mine in a few weeks. A local dealer had 1 new and 2 tournament used.
