I'm levelling a new Diamond Professional 9'. A friend just helped me put the slates on the base, now I'm wondering how to start. All the wedges are backed off so the slates are resting on the plywood edges.
Do I tighten the wedges up so that the slate is just clear of the plywood and start levelling or is it ok for the slate to sit on the plywood in places?
I have never done this before but my plan is to get the slates pretty level and get the seams even between the slates then glue them together with paper towel and crazy glue. Then do some more levelling before a pro comes over to recheck the level and glue the cloth on for me.
