Diamond's new stragiht rail table

Went to visit Best Friend Cafe and Bida today. The place isn't open yet but the owner let me an a friend in to check out the tables. They have acquired 3 new Diamond straight rail tables. The owner graciously let us hit balls on one of them. I give it two thumbs way up. Although I do not recommend putting your lung rocket on the rail it can be done without harming the table. This place is going to be extremely nice. You can go relax, have a cup of coffee, beer or wine and play a game of pool or billiards on 6 nice tables.

If ever you are in Houston check them out the owner is super nice. Below is a link to a video I did about the place.

Nice looking place. If I get that way I will have to check it out. I do have a question or two.

Is that a 9' or a 10' table?

Is it 1 piece slate or 3 piece?

Is it heated?

9 footer with 1 piece not heated.
 
Where are the pockets? :D j/k. That's awesome. Is this Diamond Billiards first "billiard" tables?

Now if Buffalo Billiards can just get RealKingCobra to stop off in New Orleans and tweak our ProAm 9 footers.

Its their first table for straight rail carom billiards. I am not sure if they are going to make a ten footed heated table.

Yes...they're numbered 001, 002, & 004 at this location. #003 went to a location in Virginia, and 005 is at the Diamond factory...waiting to get loaded in the back of my truck for "show'n tell" sales on the road:cool:

MEant to snap pics of #3 last nite, but dogged it...didn't even use it.:o
 
wow wish i saw this thread when it was created. where in town is this place at Marcus? i wanna check it out!
