Dick from rhn cues

It's no wonder that well established & respected CMs don't post here any more. I mean, who in their right mind wants to find themselves in the middle of a pissing match or have some clueless nit taking shots at their integrity?

The problem isn't because two different CMs have differing opinions. Of course there will be difference of opinion, people do things differently. What I see is the MAJOR source of the ugliness is the influx of a small, select group of individuals that have nothing better to do than to come here and take shots at notable CMs. They have no interest in asking relevant questions or making a positive contribution to any ongoing discussion. I'm at a loss to understand why they do this or what they hope to gain for their efforts as nothing in the threads that they appear in has anything to do with them. To me, they are nothing more than parasitic instigators whose only purpose here is to see who they can 'fire-up'. Their life must be so pitifully absent of any joy or reward that the only 'jollies' they receive in their life is to see their name in the same thread as someone who actually has a life. To those 'select individuals' I say : FIND THE DOOR & USE IT. You're about as welcome here as breast cancer. And to one in particular, go clean your litter-box. It's starting to get RANK.

The 'cue makers' section should be one of the premier areas of this great forum. The wealth of talent here and the vast data-base of information that's available is mind-boggling. If anyone has a legitimate question or is experiencing problems with a particular task, there are (and were) many here who will take the time to share their knowledge freely, for nothing more than promoting the art of cue building. That free exchange of information is at risk if we allow the parasitic instigators to tear down the well earned reputations of those that share good knowledge. 'Posers' & instigators have no place here and should be 'outted' for the vermin they are. They need to go. Sooner the better. Look, this is your forum, the cue maker's forum. How long are you willing to tolerate the crap?

I enjoyed the conversation as well. However, I haven't used the name Kevin in over 30 yrs. I'm Scottish and why my parents chose to give me an Irish name I guess I'll never know. I guess it was popular at the time.

that way i wont get you mixed up with that OTHER KEVIN LOL

This thread indeed has turned out to be pretty sad. I don't know what the mods may be doing behind the scenes but if I were doing the modding trolls like strat cat would be out a long time ago. I haven't seen this clown post ANYTHING that wasn't insulting of other people on here.

There is not mistaking those two.

As a side not wanting to fuel the crud flying around. But what would it take to restrict access to posters that are not cm's and repairmen. I know this would never work logistically. The internet is full of hacks and back doors passwords that are given away license keys given away free coupons........ On and on. I don't remember exactly when I started coming to az. I loved the ability to come and pick some veteran brains. Now the search function is all but lost because you have to weed through all of the bs to get to the info. And most people are lazy. I will ask and not try. Sorry but that's how I learned I tried and tried again hell I am never gonna stop trying. That is what this art is all about do it try something new master something IF YOU CAN... Just tired of all of the wind bagging on here..

So Dickie if you are reading cheers I admire your break from this cesspool.

I enjoy reading this part of the forum. I'm not a CM or repairman and don't pretend to be or want to be, but I come to this section to learn all I can about the process and everyone's different techniques. I especially like to read Dick's input on things. I ask questions when they haven't been answered already. So I guess I'd be a little bummed out if I couldn't read or ask questions. :(

I'm Scottish too. Where in Michigan are you located? My father and I went to this place in central Michigan called Alma. It's known as little Scotland. They have a meeting of the clans there (mostly for geneological purposes), and host a version of the Highland games, along with a phenomenal bag pipe competition. You should go sometime if you have the chance. Helluva time.

first off my apologies to brianna for the hijacking of the thread.
i'm gonna post this last time here and i'm done.
if u are gonna point fingers start with little joeyincali, almost all of his posts are childish even his sig is sarcastic and always directed at eddie wheat.im beginning to think he has a secret crush on eddie??
to KJ: name calling and name dropping is against forum rules,i suggest u read the rules again sir.secondly im a little dissapointed with you i always thought of you as one as an intelligent and level headed individual, one who expresses himself and explains everything very well and i see u have chosen to side with the sarcastic, antagonistic and condescending so called cue makers in this forum so be it.maybe ur hoping that will help with the popularity of ur cues cause quite frankly KJ cues are not exactly the most sought after cues in the market.i looked at the ones u have on seyberts,u call the rings inlays???since when are rings considered inlays?:rolleyes:they dont even line up and when asked by a poster u answered that u do that on purpose...yea right :rolleyes:something about giving symetry to the cue...AS IF
i saw 2 of ur sneekies for sale here not too long ago at $100 each!! ur kidding me? $100 for a cue?if i were u i would of bought them and given the guy a tip just to delete that thread.$100?? do they hit that bad kj?
lastly, dont forget that u are a representative of SEYBERTS.COM so anything u say or do in this or any other public forum may have an indirect effect on their sales and service so i would be very careful with what i'd say if i were u mr.

to craig fales: i dont insult people,i give them reality checks.

im done posting, u all have a good night now u hear.

Greg and Joe, your both good guys and assets to the forum, Maybe I just take it to serious, but one thing is true, more and more cue makers are not posting and that's a real shame because this was added to:
Help and answer real questions,
Educate the general public that Cue making, if done correctly, is serious business.
To maybe define some of the riddles we have to answer on a daily basis when dealing with woods of different origins,
That nothing, when it comes to cues, is as easy as it seems,

I can't think of two makers who do things the exact same way,
Can't think of one maker who can make enough cues to supply everyone and their individual tastes.
Can't think of one single cue that is absolutely perfect in appearance, balance and playability to satisfy every player out there.

If you choose to sell and advertise your cues, show enough class to do it without comparing it to someone else.

I'm done rattling, for those who matter Please forgive me, For those who just want to give me a vowel, Respectfully, PLEASE P-ss, -ff

Very well stated !!!

Another great post !!!

I'm making every effort to avoid personal conflicts on a business level, I too really hope all this animosity is behind us....

I have certain "WheatCues" Dislikers on my ignore list so hopefully that will make it a little harder to engage in a fight when my opponent is invisible !!!

I know I've came on strong and obviously I'm here to stay and can back up my "hype" but out of all fairness to "Dick" of RHNCue... I hold NO personal grudges and would like to get along with everyone eventually.... There's plenty of room in the cuemaking world and it's pretty tough to step on toes when each cuemaker is doing something very unique to HIS style of building !!!

Most sincerely, Eddie Wheat
