Did anyone try out the crazy fake chineese Predator cues?

i tried one. Not terrible. I think the person paid around $60. Does not say pedator. Something preiar???

While it sucks that these Chinese companies are making fake products but do you really blame them?

Big companies have been manufacturing in China due to cheap labor and essentially teaching the Chinese some of our trade secrets. These companies basically created competition by showing them how to make their products.

Sometimes they make a better product than the original. An example would be a French Company moving their manufacturing to China with the similar standards it had in France. The company plans to save more money by changing its construction process years later. Now the product isn't a good as it was in the past. The Chinese would manufacture 'fakes' but with the old construction process.

These fake products are basically shit but an actual Chinese company or brand is good quality. They just make shit products for foreign companies and they will replicate them.

I don't normally go for jump shots (shoulder issue) and always try kicking which I'm ok with. I've been considering buying a jump cue but for the amount of times I'd use it doesn't warrant spending alot of money. I ordered one of the cheap copies from Temu and fine with spending $60.00 to try out. It might be ok or a piece of junk and I'll post my result.

Well, if its a Monster jump cue? I already tried it and it was a dud. People call it Monster but the lettering actually says "Overstep".

Holy ancient thread, Batman! I still havent tried any of these cues, but it appears those who have, say they are bad. My experience is that knockoffs are generally worse than a local brand. For all the attempts, by even competent factories, to copy and improve Predators performance throughout the years, Predator still seems to have the lowest deflection. The laminated wood shafts from Predator have shown a decline in quality IMO, which is a good reason for Predator to shift to carbon. Even in the carbon realm, Predator products still seem to be ahead in pure performance when it comes to deflection. Not all people want the lowest deflection possible, and it certainly doesn't make all people play better, but it is seemingly what a lot of people want. That is probably why the brand retains it prestige and is a target of knockoff-artists.

And that makes it right? if my family wants or needs - I should not respect the rule of law...

"Easy to say from the USA", Where are you from? Are you using the internet technology that the USA pioneered to share your opinion?

I was laid off when the economy tanked in 2009, I didn't sacrifice my morals to pay the bills, I dug deep and found an honest solution, took a huge pay cut, and didn't get what "I wanted" but we didn't go hungry either.

I assure you the person that owns whatever factory those counterfeits are being produced in, doesn't need the groceries.... 😠
None of that matters to the Chinese or the Vietnamese.

America should prob trying to apply it's morals/ norms/ to the rest of the world

I got my Chinese knockoff jump cue and tried it out. It has the Predator cat decal on it and one guy asked if it was a Predator lol and I said Chinese Predator lol. I tried to jump an object ball about 8-10" or so from the CB and it took me 4-5 tries to get over. I set up the shot again and got over quite easily and pocketed the OB that I was shooting at 3 times in a row. I went to the poolhall today and I jumped to a rail to kick a ball in and hit the ball but didn't make it. I managed a good 20" jump shot and made the ball and stopped the CB dead . Sofar I've made 6 good jump shots but it'll be my last resort. For a cheap cue for little money it's alright.

Im thinking about buying this just for the hell of it. Im not using the shaft that comes with it. I think my revo will go on lol

Naw don't support them. They are not even replicating the technology. They are replicating the 'brand' and I don't think anyone will think any more of you because you play with it.

If you do buy it then do a review on it and let us know how it hits with the shaft it came with.

I tried the cheap Monster jump cue and it was junk compared to Cuetec's Propel.

George the Greek likes the Preoaidr counterfeit jump cue claiming its not junk. Even if its not a Predator Air Rush, its not the junk Monster. Preoaidr is doing a con trying to convince buyers that it is somehow associated with the well-respected Predator brand. It looks like Preoaidr has improved its jump-cue quality enough that its not junk knockoff. Rather it is approaching Predator quality while still ripping off Predator's name and doing fraud.

I don't want to be a Party Pooping Paula but cues are a tool and you cannot get a fake. These are precision instruments and if you are getting a fake then you just want to be cool amongst your peers. It's not clothes where its some tacky label or printed brand name. A shirt, is a shirt, is a shirt and I understand people want to look rich or look cool.

This is a pool cue and nobody cares what you are playing with and only how you shoot.

I got a buddy who is respected in his field….he‘s also loves billiards….has a lot of quality cues. He says China sells a lot of cheap cues…..
…..but if you want to pay a few thousand for a cue, they’ll make you a cue that is worth it.
