First I would like to thank all the azb'ers that came up to me at the dcc and chatted with me. I wish i could remember them all but the whole week turns into kind of a blur after about 5 or 6 days for me.

It's very hard to stay rested up down there. The more you win the more you have to play,lol. One night I had to play a 9ball match at 11:30pm and then a one pocket match at 10:00 am. Hard on an old man.

My goal was to come home with enough so I can build a brand new building for my pool table and I think got -r- done:thumbup:

Thanks everyone for the good words and congrats.It was a great week at the dcc!!!.

Congrats on your finishes....... It was a good showing against a tuff field and brutal schedule
 
I think your week was just a little bit better than pretty good :). Great playing in all 3 disciplines John, congrats on getting the funds for the pool table building.

You did really great John! I' sure a lot of people will be enjoying that new building with you once you get 'er built and start giving lessons in it.
 
Getting to the finals in Banks, 9th or 10th round in One Pocket, 9th Round in 9-Ball, and 3rd in the All-Around is way more than doing "pretty good"!

That is a tremendous accomplishment, and shows the outstanding talent you have for all games in pool. Not to mention it is basically the only competitive pool you play each year. It is very hard for people who are not around the DCC a lot to completely understand how tough it is to go up against those fields, the grueling format of the DCC, and to come in 3rd overall.

You are a great example for others to follow in the game... always classy, determined, focused, and play with a tremendous amount of heart.

I'm very proud to be one of your sponsors!
