Hi at all!

I have found cues from Samsara, Olney and Hunter on german ebay, all from one seller! What do you think? The Samsara looks like a fake to me!

Thank you

Well all the photos look like they were shot in the same place, plus the guy selling them has got a very good feedback score. I'd say real myself. Send him a email and ask for more pics/info if you want to make sure.

Wes Hunter puts a serial number on all of his cues. Just ask the seller what the serial number is and confirm with Wes

I like the cues, the guy has taste. Those high heels are to die for. What is the Euro to dollar exchange?

Unfortunately for you, it's only a PAIR of shoes. Judging by your avatar, you need two pair! :p

Heck you can see part of the serial number on the picture of one of the cues...sounds legit...but dang I can't read that foreign stuff! Wonder if he even ships to the states? Nice pumps...wonder if he has them in a size 8 toddler? LMAO

Be Careful

There were a few cues posted on eBay a few weeks ago from England. One was a nice Cog for $200+, another was a real nice Judd for 300+, and I can't remember the other. The seller had really good feedback. I was interested in the Judd but thought I remembered it from a previous post. I emailed the seller and received a reply saying that his eBay name was stolen and not to buy the cues, they were all fake posts (stole pictures from previous listings). He also said he reported it and the listings ended before they expired.

I'm not making any judgements on these listing, only suggesting to be careful since there has been a few of these things lately. Anytime you have doubts or concerns, I would suggest contacting the seller and ask if it would be alright for you to pay for an escrow service to make sure everything works for both parties since they're in Europe. Whether it's legit or not, the additional cost would be well worth it for your peace of mind.

Where do you see part of the serial number? The only thing I can make out is HCC with 01 under it. I would say the Hunter is definately real. I have a friend, a new member of this board as a matter of fact (Adi) whose helping me out with this auction. When I did the free translation, it still didn't tell me anything. I didn't see where it had any spec either.

It's a nice cue, and Wes' cues play very well.

FWIW,

Jim

@segafredO. : why don't you just call the guy, since you are form Germany it shouldn't be a big problem to talk to this guy, hey he even speaks your language

Starting a thread with oh "fake custom cues" on the german bay will shed a bad light on us collector krautis here in Germany, I would be quite pissed if I'd start selling some of mine and then find a thread like this, just because it is indeed superrare to have quality cues in our ebay.

In a german forum it is the Samsara which is questioned to be legit, and why...because on the Samsara website you will not find the same exact design - so it MUST be a fake, hahaha, too funny

For the record: these are not my auctions, and I don't even know the seller, well not yet, will prob. call him and check about the origins of the cues

my ebay nick is: tias73 and I am from Munich not Kempten and luckily just ran out of money so I won't sideoffer nor bid on these although the Samsara is very tempting

shipping to the US shouldn't be a big problem, will cost about $ 75-100 depending on the way he ships ( non trackable might be $ 25-30 cheaper but as the carrier is Deutsche Post I wouldn't recommend that)

I know ...

My opponents don't think it is too funny when
I ask them for a 'seniors' discount on my handicap ...

seems fair to me .... lol

I think the cues look OK and I think that he's probably legit. Like JHENDRI says Wes numbers all of his cues so there's an easy safety check.
