I'm shopping for cues on a low budget some of you may have noticed my posts lol. I'm really not cheap just can't afford it. People keep on recommending sneaky petes and I'm wondering if it has something with price range or is it something else? and more over what are other cues I should know about? I'm open to as much knowledge as anyone can offer..

Thanks

Sneeky Petes are a inexpencive cue, but with a good tip and ferrel, they can be made to shoot very good. Jim

Maybe I can clear this up a bit. If money is tight & you seek a monster player then many will probably recommend a sneaky from a custom maker. Many people prefer this as most low dollar production cues use cheap wood, have plastic ferrules, poor tapers, etc. A better option for some is a custom sneaky...with these the cuemakers use the same quality parts & construction that they use on their more expensive cues. Its well known that a quality sneaky from a quaity maker will play every bit as good as his most expensive cue. A good example are the Scruggs sneakies. I just didn't want you to be confused in thinking that most all sneakies are the same.

Thanks to all. Especially Varney, You got my question.... I have a better understanding now... Anyway Does anyone have a word on the quality of Cuetec cues?
