Played in a tournament a month ago but my profile doesn’t acknowledge it. I sent email to contact@digitalpool.com but no response.

It seems many trnmnt directors fail to to dot all the i's and cross the t's so nothing goes to fr. it is not digital pool's problem it is the td.

Thank you for the response and I fully agree, shouldn’t the tournament results at least show in my dashboard of its own software?

The bracket software leaves a lot to be desired. I can search my name and some tournaments I played in don’t pop up.

But then if I go to one of the “missing” tournaments in question, my name is in the bracket.

I can’t explain it.

This might be the problem. Looks like there are 3 of you from Indiana, either Dad and Jr, or all are the same person.

I can't explain it. Your player profile shows the correct fargorate and the correct robustness, but zero match history. With 1323 robustness, you probably have over half of the games in digitalpool. (the rest would be in other bracket software).

The other profile also doesn't show any games.

Here is the tournament you played in. Also interesting is your name doesn't have the suffix here.

The digital pool guy rarely writes anyone back.

I might be able to help. With the multiple Boyer records in the system, I want first to confirm that you were around Evansville several years ago and have in recent years been up the other side of the state and you now went back to your old stomping grounds for a benefit tournament.

I see that benefit tournament is not in FR. Here is what may have happened. DP doesn't actually "send" us anything. Instead we go out to their site and gather match data including only what we think should go in. When a tournament is finished/marked complete well after the actual tournament date, it can fall through the cracks because it wasn't there when we gathered the tournaments for the date range it was played.

I'll check with Bryan that there's not something else going on, and if not we'll get it in on the next round.

IMO, that’s a system level problem. The software should be easy enough to use that it prevents that from happening.

Or, at the minimum, give some sort of warning when it does.

For example, if one player is missing his last name, but all the other players are not, the entire bracket does not get accepted. How is a TD or a participant supposed to know that?

I only found out emailing FargoRate support when my own player data from an event I participated in was missing from FargoRate.

I went back to the TD, had him correct the name in the bracket, etc.

Mike,

I am indeed the player originally from Evansville. Jr/II and I’ve played in the 625-650 speed.

My dad is the profile from Waterloo, in and has played in the 475-500 speed.

The third profile I don’t recognize and is a unique profile from another area that myself not my father has been.

Steve
