Discussing CTE with Stan Shuffett

Hello Stan I just want to say that your work is amazing! I have never seen anything like it before. I recently took a lesson with Tyler in Wisconsin and it was very informative.I honestly think that its hard to consistently do it on the easier shots. What suggestions could you give me to always use it even on the easy shots. I use it on all my hard shots and it works great thank you for that. I would also be interested in taking a lesson from the original maybe a little later.

Thank you! I appreciate your comments. You all are lucky in WI to have Tyler Styer in your neck of the woods. He IS well on his his way to mastering all aspects of CTE. Solid player, solid teacher.

First of all, I think an adjustment in your mindset would be very appropriate. There are NO easy shots. The pro knows to respect every shot with essentiallY the same effort whether it's the opening ball of the rack or the final game-winning ball.

You do not want to go down the path of categorizing shots as easy or hard. Shooting the easy shots any ol' way will get you out of stroke. That makes the perceived tougher shots even tougher.

Having said all of that....every shot has 2 parts, pocketing and cue ball control.

CTE will do you well but 10 times better if you make it your routine.

There is more I could say but for now, hang in there with Tyler...

Tyler is coming to KY for a study/visit in February. Looking forward.

Stan Shuffett
